You can optionally set weintegrate to auto-update your customers’ addresses in QuickBooks Online based on the address information provided by customers on their Shopify orders.
To select this option, click the checkbox labeled ‘Update customer address in Accounting from newly received orders’, which will cause the Accounting field and corresponding dropdown to appear. Via the Accounting field dropdown list, select from 1 of 3 update options:
Bill to AND Ship to address - will update both the bill to and ship to addresses of customers found in QBO from Shopify orders
Bill to address - will update just the bill to address of customers found in QBO from Shopify orders
Ship to address - will update just the ship to address of customers found in QBO from Shopify orders
Note that regardless of whether you select to update addresses for a customer found in QBO or not, and regardless of if you choose to update both bill to and ship to, just ship to, or just bill to, the addresses from Shopify orders will load into the sales receipts of QuickBooks Online.
