Below is a summary of what’s in this latest summer 2023 release:
- We’ve taken the mystery out of Physical and Economic Tax Nexus management. When you have multiple Shopify locations having QuickBooks Online (QBO) apply the appropriate location for tax calculation is now made super easy. - Anyone using QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale (POS) undoubtedly is aware of the announced discontinuation of it and Intuit’s transition to Shopify POS. While we’ve always supported Shopify POS stores, we’re pleased inform you that the above Tax Nexus enhancements are fully available to you and have been tested with our existing Shopify POS customers that have both single and multiple locations. - Assigning a
Classto a Shipping Line Item in QuickBooks Online is now supported. But there are times when you either have a third party already doing it, or wish to rely on the Shopify calculation instead. Sure, you can now Override Sales Tax in QuickBooks Online with Shopify Sales Tax
- Don’t want to rely on QuickBooks Online (QBO) to calculate your Shipping tax? We’ve got you covered. Now you can override it with the Shopify value.
- Wouldn’t it be nice if you could see the shipping type and tracking link(s) on the shipping line item in QBO? We heard you and now when using the Shipping Line Item you can!
