What Does the Connection Status Mean?

When managing your QuickBooks Online and Shopify Store Connections, you will notice each connection may display one of 3 status codes:

  1. Not Connected
  2. Verified
  3. Connected

1. Not Connected
This status code indicates that you had previously linked the channel to weintegrate, however you have since clicked to disconnect the channel. To re-connect, simply click the corresponding connection link or button, submit your channels’ credentials, and follow any further instructions. That’s it! Once re-connected, weintegrate will show the next status code ‘Verified’.

2. Verified
This status code indicates that you have successfully linked the channel to the weintegrate app, however there are 1 or more default settings that need to be completed before you can start having your Shopify documents integrating with QBO.

The required settings are colored with a beige background and can be found:

  • Sales Defaults
  • Refund Defaults
  • Customer Matching
  • Item Matching

3. Connected
For Shopify orders to begin importing into weintegrate and auto-integrating with QuickBooks Online, your QBO connection and Shopify connection must both display a status code of ‘Connected’. Note that if you have multiple Shopify connections, as long as the QuickBooks Online connection shows ‘Connected’, the Shopify store(s) with status of ‘Connected’ will import documents into QBO. Any Shopify connections showing either ‘Not Connected’ or ‘Verified’ will not yet load any documents until they are also set to the ‘Connected’ status.
