2025 has been transformational. We’re so excited to share major new capabilities including full Invoice and Credit Memo support, powerful conditional sync rules, and advanced payout reconciliation handling. Every update reflects our commitment to giving you complete control over how your accounting automation works.
Below is a summary of what we delivered in 2025:
- Now you can choose how you want your Shopify sales to be record in QuickBooks Online (QBO)! Select between Sales Receipts or Invoices. When using Invoices:
- full support for payment terms
- on payment received, we’ll automatically create a Payment in QBO for the Invoice
- when refund created, we’ll automatically create a Credit Memo in QBO
- Introducing Advanced Sync Control Rules - specify conditions not to sync to QBO
- Payment Gateway - i.e. if payment gateway isn’t Shopify
- Order tag(s) - if one or more tags match the Shopify order’s tag
- Customer tag(s) - if one or more tags match the Shopify customer tag on the order
- Order not fulfilled - if order isn’t fulfilled but sync once it is
- choice of creation date when order was created or when order was fulfilled
- Enhancements to Shopify Payout to QuickBooks Online (QBO) Deposit reconciliations
- Performance enhancements in UX
- Bi-directional Shopify <> QuickBooks Online Inventory sync (in private preview)
